Integration Requirements

To ensure successful integration with ZKTeco devices, the following requirements must be met:

  • The device must have cloud server settings available
  • Alternatively, the device must be connected to BioTime
  • Firmware should be up to date to support Push protocols
  • Network connectivity must be stable for real-time data transmission
  • API endpoints should be properly configured on the receiving server
Protocol Types Explained

PUSH Protocol (Recommended)

Device actively sends data to your server in real-time when events occur. This is the most efficient method for instant updates.

REST API

Standard web API that allows querying and managing device data through HTTP requests.

SDK-based (Not Recommended)

Requires polling and custom development. Less efficient and more complex to implement.
