Web Developer

The Web Developer is responsible for the design, layout and coding of a website. They are involved with the technical and visual aspects of a website, making sure the site works and looks according to best practices and client preferences. The Web Developer will be involved with website builds and content migration, as well as assist with a variety of tasks using the WordPress CMS (and other similar platforms), including maintaining and updating WordPress themes and plugins. They will also be involved with updating/redesigning existing websites.

The Web Developer will also work with other teams (SEO, content, and graphics) in order to build fully functional, attractive, and search engine-friendly websites.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related course
  • At least Entry-level web development skills required
  • At least 1 year work experience in web development, designing, programming or equivalent with exposure in SEO strongly preferred
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Web Development and Designing applications
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the use of platforms such as WordPress, Elementor, Joomla, Magento, Drupal, Shopify, Wix etc
  • Strong knowledge with tools and technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, etc
  • Knowledge and experience in Web Programming tools and technologies strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MS SOL strongly preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective problem diagnosis and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Willing to work in Ortigas, CBD (Cityland Shaw Tower, Shaw Blvd. cor. St. Francis St., near Shangri-La Plaza)
