CAREER CONSULTANT

The Career Consultant is responsible for helping clients identify their career goals and make a plan to achieve those goals. The Career Consultant will also be responsible for providing guidance and advice on how to best present themselves during interviews. This includes helping clients create a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile, as well as scheduling mock interviews with other members of the team. To effectively perform their role, the Career Consultant must have a proven experience in career consultation or recruitment to know what clients and employers are typically looking for.

Qualifications

  • Work with foreign client/s as a Career Consultant
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, and other modern channels for potential candidates for various positions in the company
  • Screen candidates’ resumes, credentials, questionnaire responses, and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the target hiring schedule
  • Assess applicants’ values, relevant knowledge, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Required skills

  • 3 to 4 years of proven work experience as a Career Consultant
  • Experience working with a foreign company as a Career Consultant/Recruiter is an advantage
  • Strong communication, observational, and listening skills
  • Fluent in English
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Team-oriented working skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Critical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with modern recruitment technology, software, programs, and methods
  • Able to build a productive working relationship with clients requiring hiring assistance in a short amount of time
  • The ability to motivate and inspire
  • Values confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage applicants, clients, and associated paperwork
